What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Overview

Forzur (“Forzur,” “we,” “us”) is a web development and digital marketing studio based in Raleigh, North Carolina. This policy explains how we handle personal information on forzur.com and in our client portal.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, request a proposal, or create an account, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and anything you choose to include in your project description or messages.

Account and sign-in information. If you create an account with an email and password, we store your email address and a securely hashed password, never the password itself. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, and whether that email is verified. We use this only to create and identify your account. We never receive your Google password, and we do not access your Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or any other Google service.

Project information. Files, messages, approvals, and deliverables you exchange with us through the portal.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We retain records such as invoice amounts, status, and the last four digits of the card.

Technical and usage information. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring pages. We keep security and audit logs of significant account activity, such as sign-ins and permission changes.

Email engagement. Our transactional emails may record whether a message was opened or a link clicked, so we can confirm delivery of things like proposals and invoices. Where enabled, an approximate location may be derived from the IP address associated with an open.

How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and support our services and client portal.
  • To prepare proposals and contracts, process payments, and deliver completed work.
  • To send transactional messages such as account, project, billing, and security notices.
  • To secure our services, including detecting abuse, rate-limiting, and enforcing account lockouts after repeated failed sign-in attempts.
  • To diagnose errors and improve performance and reliability.
  • To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Where we rely on consent, such as for optional analytics or marketing email, you may withdraw it at any time.

Service providers

We use a small number of vetted providers to run the service. They process data on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes:

  • Stripe: payment processing and billing.
  • Google: optional sign-in (OAuth), and website analytics.
  • Sentry: application error monitoring.
  • Amazon Web Services (S3): file and document storage.
  • Cloudflare: domain registration and DNS, where you purchase a domain through us.
  • Our email provider: delivery of transactional email.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. We also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though doing so may prevent you from signing in.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. After that, we retain what we must for legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes, then delete or anonymise it. Security and audit logs are kept on a rolling basis.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents may request details of information collected and disclosed, and may exercise these rights without being discriminated against.

To make a request, email support@forzur.com. We may need to verify your identity before we can act.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in the message. Transactional messages about your account, projects, and billing are necessary to provide the service.

Security

We protect data in transit with TLS, store passwords using industry-standard hashing, restrict access to those who need it, and log significant account activity. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and any regulator as required if a breach affects it.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

International users

We operate in the United States, and our providers may process information there. If you access our services from outside the United States, you understand your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above, and for material changes we will provide a more prominent notice.
